Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for IT hardware (desktop/laptop computers, scanner, printer, server, firewall and network switch) and software (Windows, Office, Antivirus, database, companywide software, etc.) in setup, configuration, installation and maintenance in both onsite and remote support.
Provides accurate and creative solutions to end user's reported problems meeting all pre defined quality measurements.
Elevate incident to IT vendors to resolve issues reported by users
Administer and maintain all IT hardware.
Document SOP and processes related to IT.
Ensure user request and issues are handled according to company standards
Proactively monitor systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints.
Run diagnostics and employ preventive measures to main high availability servers.
Monitor and administer network, servers and database security.
IT analysis and recommendations in improving performance and efficiency of IT processes, IT hardware and related systems.
Create processes to ensure data backup, data integrity and identify potential data errors.

Skills:

Knowledge in desktop PC maintenance and troubleshooting in a network environment.
Knowledge in Windows Servers, Operating Systems, network routing/connectivity, computer hardware/equipment, software distribution and application software troubleshooting.
High comfort level working in a diverse environment
Able to travel as and when required for hotel maintenance and setup
Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Melayu
Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
Sense of responsibility, commitment and ability to work independently.

Experience

Education

Possess a recognized Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or IT Professional certificate or equivalent.
