It was a feat when I watched in awe as my taxi maneuvered its way into a tiny lane just fit for the size of one car. Horrified, at the end of the lane I noticed the bonnet of a mini van waiting to take the same lane to get out. I was thinking, can these guys get through this tight squeeze? Is that Tune Hotel at the end of this lane? With some impressive stunts, both vehicle managed to squeeze pass each other. And there, appeared in front of me was an opening to a Zen-Balinese style boutique hotel - Tune Hotel. I was mesmerized by its decor. The reception was so chic and "happening". For the price I paid for a 2-nite stay at RM70 (yes, for 2 nites, double bed), I was truly appalled with the details they planned for the walkway and also into the room. The shower and wc, though small, were clean and well lit. The big glass doors and the big shower head made showering a pleasant experience. The bed was soft and I was surprised they even built-in a headboard with mirrors. The room was small but every inch of the room was very well-planned. There was no wardrobe but having hangers for clothes installed on the wall was a brilliant idea. And the flip down table top was a superb idea too. It was indeed a very pleasant stay. The hotel staff was terrifically friendly. I will definitely look out for a Tune Hotel whenever I am back in Legian or Kuta, Bali. Thank you, Tune Hotel.
